The Reporting Analyst will provide rapid solutions to the ASCO organization giving them data insights through a process of continuous discovery and will work with a wide range of solutions and technologies applicable to the current environment using data visualizers, data transformational tools, native reporting tools within applications, Machine Learning etc. The analyst will develop, maintain, and improve data delivery through the North America Data Warehouse platforms. The right person in this role will support overall improvements in data architecture, metric definition and agile processes to support business data and analytical initiative and continuously monitor developments within the broad area of Analytics and look for opportunities to apply them to the company and department goals.

- Collaborate with team members with a flexible approach to conceptualize, design, and deliver enterprise and departmental data solutions to support business intelligence, data warehousing, reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into data pipelines and data stores to support business needs.
- Create visualizations using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, in application reporting services and ETL Tools like Alteryx, SSIS
- Work with Data and Solution Architects to define and implement migration strategies from legacy systems to cloud architecture and technologies.
- Automation, standardization, optimization and delivery of our solutions with focus on data integrity and governance.
- Share a passion for Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics
Qualifications:
The right candidate will have the following capabilities and experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably with a concentration in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering.
- 5+ years relevant experience in Reporting and Analytics
- Financial reporting experience is a plus.
- Experience partnering with client-facing teams to understand client needs and translate them to technical requirements.
- Experience with data modeling, data integration, working with disparate data sources, relational databases and developing visualizations.
- Not essential but nice to have: Experience with Python, Cloud technologies like Databricks, AWS etc.
Skills and Responsibility:
- Command of advanced SQL queries and programming
- Strong Tableau data visualization skills (2-year experience preferred) with advanced-level skills with action filters, user filters, advanced navigation techniques, Level-of-Detail (LOD) expressions, and table calculations.
- Manage various databases and ETL tools to extract and manipulate data from disparate sources e.g.: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Redshift, Alteryx, and SSIS.
- Incorporate Agile methodologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples)
- Operate with Data Warehouse team to develop data models and other structures to enable fast and easy business user access to data.
- Gather and Analyze requirements while working with business to develop- "executive", "management", and "team" data analytics.
- Analyze multiple data sources for possible consolidation in common reporting database to ensure data integrity.
- Explore data models, flows and business logic behind ERP, CRM, and other systems to bring knowledge to data warehouse and analyst teams.
- Work collaboratively with Business Systems Analysts, Business Data Stewards and/or directly with key business users to ensure data quality, business requirements and dashboard KPIs are documented accurately and completely.

- The ability to make the connection between the technology and the business application use of it. You need to be able to approach report/dashboard design from the perspective of the business user.

- The ability to take a consultative approach during request intake and iterations. Our internal clients have varying degrees of intimacy with their data. Should be able to interpret what solutions to provide, based on the questions asked.
- Strong customer services skills, and ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident with learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Excellent communication and follow up - Important to keep all stakeholders updated on the status of requests and to adjust expectations as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal clients, and a successful track record of collaboration toward achieving objectives.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Other details: Must be willing to work in a midshift schedule (2PM-11PM)
