Business Development Manager - Power & Grid
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $128,480.00- $192,720 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What Do You Do Every Day?
- Drive business growth for the Power & Grid organization by leading Sales Channel, Software & Services, and Energy Parks initiatives across the portfolio.
- Act as a strategic connector across the organization-partnering with Sales, Digital Power, AI Dash, ETAP, and other internal Schneider Electric teams to ensure alignment, enablement, and execution.
- Translate the Power & Grid strategy into actionable initiatives that improve pipeline health, increase hit and conversion rates, and accelerate revenue growth.
- Enable the sales organization by helping teams navigate Schneider Electric's internal ecosystem-connecting sellers to the right people, tools, and expertise to move opportunities forward efficiently.
- Maintain a strong focus on pipeline effectiveness, identifying trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities to grow win rates and overall business performance.
- Lead and support Software and Services demand creation, ensuring sellers are trained, equipped, and confident in positioning value-driven, solution-oriented offerings.
- Serve as the primary liaison between AI Dash, ETAP, and internal Digital Power teams, coordinating training, messaging, and field enablement to support growth priorities.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales leaders, account executives, solution architects, digital sellers, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistent execution and measurable results.
- Challenge the status quo-bringing new ideas, data-driven insights, and innovative approaches to grow the Power & Grid business.

Who are we looking for? - This job might be for you if you have:
- Passion for drivin g cutting-edge solutions and thinking outside the box to solve customer problems
- Experience working in or alongside Power & Grid, Digital Power, Software, or Services organizations, ideally within the electrical or energy industry.
- Experience with any of the following is preferred but not necessary: Power & Grid market, Energy Parks, Microgrids, ETAP/Digital Twins, electrical distribution and/or automation equipment such as meters, RTUs, relays, MV/LV switchgear, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, power monitoring software, or SCADA systems.
- Comfort operating in an AI ‑ amplified sales and architecture environment, leveraging generative AI and digital tools to improve activities such as demand forecasting, opportunity qualification, technical documentation, or sales productivity.
- A strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to focus on hit rates, conversion rates, and pipeline performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to simply complexity - helping sellers understand where to go, who to engage, and how to progress opportunities inside a large matrixed organization.
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and are willing to challenge legacy ways of working to unlock new opportunities
- Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and learn new skills quickly.
- Travel up to 25% to various customer sites/events. You will control your travel based on the needs of your customers and business.
