Building Automation Field Service Manager
Schneider Electric is looking for a Building Automation Field Supervisor for the Raleigh, NC area.
The Building Automation Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of Building Automation Service Technicians and ensuring the successful delivery of building automation solutions to our customers. This position focuses on operational excellence, team development, and customer satisfaction within the local market.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS), proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage service operations effectively while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor Building Automation Service Technicians. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure technical proficiency and professional growth.
- Service Delivery & Execution: Oversee day-to-day service operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance. Ensure timely and efficient completion of service projects and preventive maintenance activities.
- Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor for building automation solutions, providing consultative support and problem-solving expertise. Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Drive adherence to safety standards and compliance requirements. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a solid understanding of Building Automation Systems and related technologies. Support troubleshooting, commissioning, and integration of BAS solutions.
- 3-5 years of experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of Building Automation Systems (HVAC controls, energy management, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations.
- Experience in service operations, project coordination, and customer interaction.
