We are looking for Account Manager to make an impact!
About the Role (Mission)
This account manager will be part of the Contractor Sales team driving new business growth in Singapore by developing and managing contractor accounts, building trusted customer relationships, and expanding market presence. The role also partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to build a strong pipeline, generate market intelligence, and represent Schneider Electric as a trusted IMPACT brand ambassador.
What will you do?
- Drive sales strategy to develop new business opportunities within Singapore
- Initiates, plan and develop Contractors accounts in your set target market through the use of various data sources to execute verticals
- Accountable for managing Contractors and take ownership of the accounts; develop customer loyalty and build trust in customers
- Utilise product knowledge expertise to drive sales process; including solution definition, design and propose a solution to address the customer's specific needs
- Possess cross selling mindset of Schneider Electric portfolio - Power Products, Power Systems, Secure Power, Digital Energy and Field Services with special attention on customer pain points
- Prepare sales forecast, pipeline for monthly review and engagement for S0/S1 gate review by Utilizing BFO for sales funnel management, account planning, performance and opportunity detection to build healthy project pipelines
- Collaborate and work to provide critical information to One Solutions Tender team to prepare sales quotations and proposal. Proactively update/provide market intel of projects by working closely with the End Users, Consultants team
- Understand key account player mapping on End Users, Consultants, EPCS and Contractors
- Be an IMPACT brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of technical sales experience with a total 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Electrical Distribution and Protection Systems, power related experience
- Good knowledge of Digital Energy and Secure Power systems
- Account management, Cold Calling, Social Selling skills and ability to leverage technology for communications and managing own performance
- Persuading, convincing, influencing, or impressing others in order to promote our offers and get them to support influencing other decision makers.
- Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including C-level customers
