1Solutions Project Quality Leader
Are you passionate about driving excellence in project execution? Schneider Electric is looking for a Project Quality Leader (PQL) to champion quality across complex customer projects and ensure our deliverables exceed expectations. This role plays a key part in enhancing customer satisfaction, strengthening compliance, and fostering continuous improvement across our 1SOL project portfolio.
About the Role
The Project Quality Leader partners with Project Managers, Tender Managers, Supply Chain, Quality teams and customers to lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will guide teams, analyse risks, manage compliance and help shape a strong quality culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer quality requirements, assess risks, and prepare essential quality documents (PQP, ITP, mitigation plans).
- Drive quality assurance and control through project execution, ensuring compliance with internal and customer standards.
- Lead internal and supplier audits, including Nuclear (ISO 19443) or Defense/Marine compliance when required.
- Monitor quality KPIs, manage non‑conformities, and lead root‑cause analysis and improvement actions.
- Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback and build action plans to strengthen satisfaction.
- Provide quality expertise, training and guidance to cross‑functional project teams.
- Support supplier qualification processes and ensure safety, regulatory and confidentiality requirements are met.
Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years' experience in quality management within technical or complex project environments.
- Great leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Expertise in QMS, quality assurance & control (RCA, 8D, Fishbone) and quality tools.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience in software project quality is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO standards; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Master's degree (or equivalent).
