Role Overview
As part of the Controllership Data team, we are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting specialist to lead our Workday Reporting Center of Excellence (COE). This role will define and execute governance, standards, and best practices across the finance reporting landscape, ensuring data quality, integrity, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between Report Champions and Business Technology (BT) teams, enabling a streamlined and effective reporting environment.

Key Responsibilities
Define and implement governance frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices for Workday reporting within Finance
Establish clear policies, processes, and guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality reporting across the Finance function
Develop and maintain documentation, templates, and checklists for report creation, approval, and maintenance
Continuously review and update standards to align with regulatory requirements and evolving business needs
Monitor Workday and Salesforce reporting platforms and maintain an accurate finance reporting inventory
Track all active reports, dashboards, and data sources to ensure completeness and relevance
Identify duplicate, outdated, or underutilized reports and work with teams to optimize the reporting portfolio
Provide regular reporting analytics to Finance leadership to support strategic decision-making
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial and operational data
Implement robust validation and reconciliation processes to detect and correct errors or inconsistencies
Collaborate with data owners and business partners to define data quality standards and metrics
Proactively identify risks to data integrity and develop mitigation strategies
Manage the report intake process, prioritization, and delivery workflow
Serve as the central point for all new report requests, ensuring they are logged, reviewed, and prioritized effectively
Establish a transparent process for stakeholders to track request status and delivery timelines
Coordinate with BT and Finance teams to ensure timely and high-quality report delivery
Develop and deliver a Workday reporting training curriculum for Finance teams
Create comprehensive training materials and workshops to upskill Finance users on Workday reporting capabilities
Offer ongoing guidance, support, and best practices to increase adoption and self-sufficiency across Finance teams
Gather feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods
Serve as the primary liaison between Report Champions, Finance stakeholders, and BT teams to ensure reporting needs are met efficiently
Act as the bridge between business and technology, translating business requirements into actionable reporting solutions
Facilitate collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline workflows
Champion reporting initiatives and advocate for continuous improvement within the Finance Data Team
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Finance data management, data analytics, or data stewardship.
Workday Reporting Certified, with proven experience in Workday reporting and analytics
Understanding of finance and accounting processes, including related data and reporting requirements
Understanding of SOX controls and compliance obligations
Strong understanding of metadata and data structures
Technology-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical teams
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A Workday reporting specialist with a passion for data governance and process excellence
Experienced in leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
* Able to provide training and guidance to ensure adoption of reporting standards and best practices
