You'll shape our go-to-market strategy, build and deepen our partner ecosystem, and turn market intelligence into revenue-generating growth initiatives - all in service of Tableau's mission to help people see and understand their data.

What You'll Do

Define and lead Tableau's market strategy across key verticals, customer segments, and geographies in alignment with Salesforce's broader platform vision
Build and scale the Tableau partner ecosystem - including ISVs, SIs, OEM partners, cloud marketplace alliances (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Salesforce AppExchange partners
Identify whitespace opportunities in the analytics and BI market by monitoring competitive dynamics (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Qlik) and emerging trends (AI-driven analytics, data literacy)
Drive co-sell, co-marketing, and embedded analytics motions with Salesforce and key technology partners
Represent Tableau externally as a thought leader at industry events (e.g., Tableau Conference, Dreamforce, Gartner Data & Analytics Summit) and with analysts (Gartner, Forrester)
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Salesforce Platform teams to build pipeline and accelerate customer adoption
Establish and track KPIs for ecosystem health, partner-sourced revenue, and market penetration
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of strategy and ecosystem managers
Present strategy and results to C-suite and Salesforce executive stakeholders

What You'll Bring

12+ years of experience in market strategy, partnerships, business development, or ecosystem management in enterprise software or data/analytics
Deep knowledge of the business intelligence, analytics, or data management landscape
Proven ability to build and activate partner ecosystems that drive measurable revenue impact
Experience working within or alongside a large platform company (Salesforce experience a plus)
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization
Data-driven mindset with experience using market research and competitive intelligence to shape strategy
Passion for data, analytics, and the power of visual storytelling
MBA or equivalent preferred

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.The typical base salary range for this position is $257,500 - $451,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $310,200 - $496,400 annually.The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
