Role Overview
We are seeking a mission-driven Lead Solution Engineer to partner with our key Public Sector and Government customers. This role is pivotal in crafting innovative citizen engagement strategies, demonstrating the Salesforce platform's ability to modernize government services, and translating complex policy requirements into impactful digital solutions. You will engage with senior stakeholders, including Secretaries, Bureaucrats, and Chairman and Managing Directors, to create digital transformation roadmaps and deliver pitches that showcase how Salesforce drives transparency, efficiency, and public trust.

Key Responsibilities
Mission Discovery & Design: Understand department needs and pain points through targeted discovery sessions; craft tailored Salesforce solutions aligned with policy objectives and requirements.
Constituent Engagement: Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities via live demos, prototypes, and presentations tailored to government personas (e.g., Case Workers, Program Managers, Citizens).
Modernisation Roadmaps: Build and articulate clear "Digital Government" strategies and IT roadmaps, highlighting Salesforce's value in reducing technical debt and improving service delivery.
Strategic Consulting: Lead cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive solutions that address complex regulatory, security, and compliance needs while articulating benefits to public stakeholders.
Procurement Support: Support formal procurement cycles by contributing to RFx responses (RFP/RFI/RFQ), building mission-aligned business cases, and conducting impactful technical demonstrations.
Collaboration: Partner with Program and IT teams to uncover operational silos and build "out-of-the-box" innovative solutions for licensing, permitting, inspections, and social services.
Thought Leadership: Guide large government entities on digital transformation, leveraging Salesforce to create a "360-degree view of the Citizen."
Territorial Engagement: Travel as required for on-site customer workshops, briefings, and Public Sector industry events.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: Degree or equivalent; 10+ years in IT, consulting, or technology pre-sales/implementation.
Public Sector Expertise: Proven experience in pre-sales or solution delivery within Government (Central or State), or PSUs.
Strategic Communication: Strong ability to develop and present constituent journey maps and use case demos aligned with public service delivery models.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Public Sector challenges, including procurement cycles, grant management, legacy system modernization, and data privacy/security standards.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in cloud computing, CRM, low-code application development, and integration strategies.
Executive Presence: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with experience engaging "C-level" agency leadership, bureaucrats and political stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certifications: Service Cloud, Platform Builder or Platform Admin
Domain Background: Prior experience as a Salesforce Solution Engineer or Architect within a government agency or a partner firm specializing in Public Sector digital transformation.
Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with government security frameworks (e.g., STQC, MieTy, or DPDP etc).
