The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
We're excited to welcome a Junior Salesforce Developer into a role intentionally created to support and empower professionals with disabilities, as defined by applicable laws and including neurodivergent individuals.
Applicants must provide appropriate documentation evidencing disability, as required by applicable law.
In this position, you'll focus on designing and building solutions within the Salesforce platform. Your work will be essential in ensuring our systems are scalable, perform well, and integrate seamlessly with other platforms.
This position reports to the Technical Consulting Manager. You'll receive support from a leader and a team that values individuality and is prepared to offer the necessary assistance for your development.
What You'll Do
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Build solutions using Apex: Applying knowledge of logic and object-oriented programming, you will start with well-defined tasks and gradually contribute to more robust and complex solutions as asynchronous processes like Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Future Methods.
- Create and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC): You'll focus on building components and learn best practices for handling events, using slots, and writing efficient code.
- Contribute to integrations: You'll support the team on projects connecting Salesforce with other systems, gaining experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, and Platform Events and custom Web services.
- Write efficient queries: Using SOQL and SOSL effectively, following best practices to ensure data is retrieved correctly and stays within platform governor limits.
- Use Git for version control: You will follow our team's established workflows for managing code and participating in the deployment process.
- Participate in code reviews: You will be an active participant in our code review process, where you'll receive clear, constructive feedback. As you grow, you'll have the opportunity to review code from your peers, with full support.
- Contribute to technical discussions: You will be encouraged to offer your insights and perspective in team discussions on architecture and best practices, in a space where learning is the primary goal.
