The Global Partnerships M&A team is seeking a Senior Analyst. The team leads strategic initiatives that accelerate partner growth through strategic acquisitions. We work across functions to align stakeholders and drive mutual success and outcomes. Key initiatives include accelerating the integration of acquisitions across all partners and delivering business transformation initiatives critical to Salesforce's goal of doubling operating margin and improving performance.
The Senior Analyst will share responsibility for driving acquisition integration efforts, accountable for program components from design to execution. Example projects you will work on range from strategic to highly operational: perform partner overlap analysis between acquired company and Salesforce, represent GP on systems integration initiatives developing business requirements, design new or improve current processes to support systems changes, and provide executive acquisition/strategic initiative performance metrics. The candidate will interact with cross-functional stakeholders and have exposure to senior executives.
The successful candidate is a highly motivated, action-oriented and impact focused individual with an analytical mindset. They will have a relentless curiosity, possess a passion for creating innovative analysis, and will excel at communicating executive level messages that transcend the numbers. Ideally, this candidate will have worked at a top-tier management consulting firm, in an IT or Operations organization, or acted in a similar capacity, and will be adept at working through process and systems changes across many cross-functional stakeholders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent the partner ecosystem in strategic initiatives, working across functions to contribute to company growth. Examples include: acquisition integration planning and execution, data analysis and migration, business process and systems integration, and business reporting
- Lead program work streams designed to implement/change current system capabilities or improve a process. Develop a plan with stakeholder input and execute with minimal oversight
- Hold self and others accountable to program governance and project management framework including creating and maintaining project plans and RAID logs
- Drive data analysis across Salesforce and acquired companies to transition legacy and new partners into Salesforce
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for steering committees and executive stakeholders
- Own metrics to showcase M&A impact on partner revenue, capacity, and experience
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for strategic planning and integration efforts
- Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Experience: 2-4 years work experience focused on business analysis, IT project management, or management consulting. Experience in software products and understanding of sales and post sales cycle. M&A experience is a plus.

- Education: Undergraduate degree. MBA a plus.
- Strong Analytical Skills and Strategic Thinking: Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills, with experience analyzing datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau and/or SQL. Understands how strategy impacts operations and vice versa, and can translate strategy into analytics and operations. Strong Google suite skills (including Gemini and NotebookLM). Ability to quickly ramp on collaboration technologies (Slack, canvases, slackbot).
- Executive Presentations & Storytelling: Confidence and strong presentation skills, with experience developing decks conveying insights from data analysis using Google Slides, and presenting to peers and leaders. Demonstrates high EQ, tact, diplomacy, and self awareness. Is able to have courageous difficult discussions, influence and negotiate, navigate productively through conflict, and lead cross functionally at peer level and above to drive decisions forward.
- Managing Ambiguity & Beginners Mindset: Ability to work effectively through a high degree of movement and change, demonstrating consistent ability to set a vision, prioritize, cut through noise, and execute through ambiguity. Comfortable working with limited information and asking questions.
- Results Oriented / Initiative: Self starter, excels in self directing, solution seeker, seeks new opportunities, does things without being told, requires minimum supervision. Is consistently accurate, delivers high quality work and on time. Looks for lasting results and long term solutions.
- Business Process & Systems Orientation: Demonstrates ability to plan, design, and implement business and systems changes including business requirement development and the ability to translate the technical into "business speak." Ability to work well under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Problem Solver: Exceptional problem solving skills. Ability to analyze poorly defined areas and processes. Effective in implementing new and improved processes. Possesses a beginner mindset.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.The typical base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $150,300 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
