Role Description

Salesforce is seeking a visionary Senior Director, GPO Country Controller to drive our organization's strategy, growth, and operational excellence. As a key leader within the Global Controllership organization, you will design the oversight processes for country compliance and articulate the local reporting framework for our international entities (60+ entities), including Salesforce France.

This is a strategic management role responsible for the digital roadmap that bridges global standards with local statutory, tax, and ESG requirements. You will lead a dynamic group of highly skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring governance excellence and strategic risk management as Salesforce continues its global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Strategy & Process Architecture

  • Process Design: Lead end-to-end global design for financial and ESG reporting to ensure efficiency and strict alignment across all entities.
  • Digital Roadmap: Define the strategy for ERP and boundary systems to automate local reporting and compliance.
  • Data Strategy: Architect a "single source of truth" data flow that satisfies both internal governance and external regulators.
  • Innovation: Anticipate emerging mandates (e.g., ESG) and implement proactive reporting processes.
  • De-risking Growth: Create the blueprint for rapid geo-expansion and seamless M&A integration.

2. Compliance, Governance & Project Support

  • Global Oversight: Implement a robust compliance framework and provide high-level stewardship over country-specific financial reporting.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert for complex business expansions and acquisitions to ensure compliance is addressed upfront.
  • Technology Enablement: Define and deploy repository tools to monitor obligations smarter and faster.

3. Cross-Functional Partnership & Business Support

  • Stakeholder Leadership: Represent Country Controllership in enterprise-wide initiatives; drive collaboration with Regional Process Owners (RPOs).
  • Executive Insights: Provide "horizon scanning" insights to Country Business Leaders and Boards of Directors regarding statutory compliance.
  • Social Governance: Collaborate with Work Councils and employee representative bodies to ensure constructive partnerships.
  • Efficiency: Continuously audit processes to eliminate redundancy and drive global cost-efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Global Controllership, Finance Transformation, or Audit leadership within a fast-paced, publicly traded multinational.
  • System Expertise: Proven track record of process design within Tier-1 environments (e.g., Oracle, Workday, Workiva, Vertex).
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of external compliance (Statutory, Tax, ESG) and experience navigating Works Councils and Board governance.
  • Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a catalyst for change in a fluid environment.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in another European language is a significant plus.

En tant que leader clé au sein de l'organisation Global Controllership (Contrôle de Gestion Global), vous concevrez les processus de supervision pour la conformité par pays et articulerez le cadre de reporting local pour nos entités internationales (plus de 60 entités), y compris Salesforce France.

Missions et Responsabilités

1. Stratégie globale et Architecture des processus

  • Conception des processus : Diriger la conception globale de bout en bout du reporting financier et ESG pour garantir l'efficacité et un alignement strict à travers toutes les entités.
  • Feuille de route numérique : Définir la stratégie pour l'ERP et les systèmes périphériques afin d'automatiser le reporting local et la conformité.
  • Stratégie de données : Concevoir un flux de données servant de " source unique de vérité " (single source of truth) qui répond à la fois aux exigences de la gouvernance interne et des régulateurs externes.
  • Innovation : Anticiper les nouvelles obligations légales (par ex., l'ESG) et mettre en œuvre des processus de reporting proactifs.
  • Sécurisation de la croissance (De-risking) : Créer le modèle de référence (blueprint) pour une expansion géographique rapide et une intégration fluide des fusions et acquisitions (M&A).

2. Conformité, Gouvernance et Soutien aux projets

  • Supervision globale : Mettre en œuvre un cadre de conformité robuste et assurer une gestion de haut niveau du reporting financier spécifique à chaque pays.
  • Conseil stratégique : Agir en tant qu'expert(e) métier lors d'expansions commerciales complexes et d'acquisitions pour s'assurer que la conformité est traitée en amont.
  • Habilitation technologique : Définir et déployer des outils de référentiel pour surveiller les obligations de manière plus intelligente et plus rapide.

3. Partenariat interfonctionnel et Soutien à l'activité

  • Leadership auprès des parties prenantes : Représenter la fonction Country Controllership dans les initiatives à l'échelle de l'entreprise ; stimuler la collaboration avec les Regional Process Owners (RPOs - Propriétaires de processus régionaux).
  • Vision exécutive : Fournir des analyses prospectives (horizon scanning) aux dirigeants commerciaux des pays et aux conseils d'administration concernant la conformité statutaire.
  • Gouvernance sociale : Collaborer avec les comités d'entreprise (CSE) et les instances représentatives du personnel pour garantir des partenariats constructifs.
  • Efficacité : Auditer en permanence les processus pour éliminer les redondances et générer des économies à l'échelle mondiale.

Qualifications et Profil recherché

  • Formation : Diplôme de niveau Licence/Bachelor (ou équivalent) en comptabilité, finance ou dans un domaine connexe. Une certification ACA/CPA (ou équivalent local tel que le DSCG/DEC en France) est privilégiée.
  • Expérience : Plus de 10 ans d'expérience évolutive dans la direction du contrôle de gestion global, de la transformation financière ou de l'audit au sein d'une multinationale cotée en bourse et en évolution rapide.
  • Expertise système : Expérience avérée dans la conception de processus au sein d'environnements de premier plan (Tier-1) (ex : Oracle, Workday, Workiva, Vertex).
  • Expertise métier : Connaissance approfondie de la conformité externe (statutaire, fiscale, ESG) et expérience de l'interaction avec les comités d'entreprise et la gouvernance des conseils d'administration.
  • Leadership : Compétences interpersonnelles exceptionnelles avec la capacité d'agir comme un catalyseur de changement dans un environnement fluide.
  • Langues : La maîtrise de l'anglais (écrit et oral) est requise ; la maîtrise d'une autre langue européenne est un atout important.
