The Experience Strategy Manager, Virtual and Hybrid Events is responsible for shaping and executing the attendee journey across our virtual and hybrid event portfolio on Salesforce+. This role focuses on ensuring that our virtual events are strategically aligned with business objectives and deliver a high-quality, engaging experience for our global audience.

In this highly collaborative role, you will work as a key strategist, connecting product vision with execution. By partnering with cross-functional teams across strategic events, product marketing, studios, corporate social media and more, you will develop consistent frameworks for our virtual presence, optimize content discovery, and help define the future of hybrid engagement at Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Experience Strategy & Event Portfolio Management

  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with Product Marketing to translate product launches and business goals into clear, actionable strategic briefs for virtual and hybrid events.
  • Event Targeting & Executive Alignment: Partner with Demand Gen to align on audience goals and event KPIs. Facilitate the approval process with leadership, ensuring event themes and strategic directions are vetted and supported by key stakeholders.
  • Format Innovation: Establish and document best practices for evolving virtual event formats, focusing on increasing attendee engagement and digital-first storytelling.
  • Project Management: Provide end-to-end project management for select events, overseeing timelines and deliverables from the initial planning phases through execution.

Salesforce+ Channel Strategy

  • Cross-Functional Facilitation: Facilitate content planning and strategy discussions across various teams (demand gen, broadcast, digital, social media), ensuring alignment and seamless execution. Document conversations and decisions to maintain clear communication.
  • Merchandising Strategy: Partner with digital experience team on how event content is curated and surfaced on Salesforce+, ensuring optimal visibility and a seamless user experience.
  • Content Lifecycle: Develop strategies to maximize the value of event content post-broadcast and manage the Salesforce+ content calendar, ensuring long-term engagement on the platform.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze content performance across channels. Work with data teams to improve aggregate-level reporting and leverage insights for optimization.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in event strategy, digital marketing, or program management, specifically within virtual or hybrid environments.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to work across complex, matrixed organizations and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple event workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to identify trends in digital engagement and apply them to a corporate event portfolio.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, comfortable presenting strategy to internal partners and executives.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.The typical base salary range for this position is $115,600 - $174,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $138,800 - $190,900 annually.The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
