We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Director of Software Engineering to lead our engineering organization through its next phase of growth. This role will oversee multiple software teams, drive technical strategy, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise and a passion for building world-class engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to software engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional partners to define technical roadmaps and deliver on business goals.
  • Oversee full-cycle software development, ensuring high standards of quality, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Establish and continuously improve engineering best practices, processes, and metrics.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent; build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Drive architectural decisions and long-term technical vision across platforms.
  • Manage budgets, resourcing, vendor relationships, and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Champion modern engineering approaches such as CI/CD, cloud-native development, automation, and test-driven development.
