Position Description
Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the quality of the product produced. They oversee the training and the documentation for Quality requirements.
Duties:
- Conducts tests on incoming raw materials for compliance
- Conducts and documents finished goods inspection and testing
- Manages material flow in and out of MRB area, ensuring timely disposition
- Coordinates calibration requirements
- Understands basics of SPC
- Can conduct trial measurements
- Maintains in-process measurements/QC checks
- Ensures proper documentation is completed on a timely basis
- Conducts Internal Audits
- Routes deviations per procedures
- Maintains Quality Board
- Has basic understanding of EHS policies and procedures, company standards, and completes risk assessments for Quality functions
- Drafts training materials
- Conducts small group or 1:1 quality training
- Participates in cross-functional assessment teams

Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), required
- A minimum of 1 year of quality experience, required
- Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, required
- Can lift up to 30lbs, required
