Position Description

Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the quality of the product produced. They oversee the training and the documentation for Quality requirements.

Duties:

  • Conducts tests on incoming raw materials for compliance
  • Conducts and documents finished goods inspection and testing
  • Manages material flow in and out of MRB area, ensuring timely disposition
  • Coordinates calibration requirements
  • Understands basics of SPC
  • Can conduct trial measurements
  • Maintains in-process measurements/QC checks
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed on a timely basis
  • Conducts Internal Audits
  • Routes deviations per procedures
  • Maintains Quality Board
  • Has basic understanding of EHS policies and procedures, company standards, and completes risk assessments for Quality functions
  • Drafts training materials
  • Conducts small group or 1:1 quality training
  • Participates in cross-functional assessment teams

Required Qualifications

- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), required
- A minimum of 1 year of quality experience, required
- Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, required
- Can lift up to 30lbs, required
