Position Description
Job Summary
What's the job?
Plant Engineering Support
- Provide cold end technical support to the plant for day-to-day issues (when required)
- Develop & implement improvement projects based upon root cause failure analysis and corrective action development
- Specific technical leadership and knowledge required for fabricating and packaging fiberglass insulation products
- Manage controllable expenses to budget specifications. Update plant and equipment drawings, as needed
Plant Support
- Lead assigned plant initiatives involving 5S, safety auditing, downday support, energy conservation, and various others not listed
Project Management
- Design, budget, and implement cost savings projects
- Update training documents (JSA's, LOTO, WOP, SOP, etc.) and work in conjunction with HR, QA, Safety and Environmental departments
Required Qualifications
What do you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics)
- 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a continuous flow process manufacturing environment
- PLC experience
- Project management experience
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and dynamic environment
