Who we're looking for:
We are looking for a data-driven HR Operations & Benefits Analyst to serve as a skilled executor of our People Team’s infrastructure. In this role, you will optimize our Workday ecosystem while maintaining the day-to-day administration of global health, wellness, and leave of absence programs. You will bridge the gap between technical systems and employee experience by navigating complex reconciliations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering actionable people analytics. The ideal candidate balances a high degree of emotional intelligence with the analytical rigor needed to scale global HR processes. This person maintains, delivers operational excellence and efficiency. Ultimately, you will ensure our HR operations and benefit programs are as seamless and supportive as Rover’s values.
Your Responsibilities:
- System Ownership: Support the administration and optimization of Workday and other HRIS tools; troubleshoot issues and ensure data integrity across the platform.
- Lifecycle Support: Execute the operational transactions of key employee milestones, including compensation adjustments, promotions, terminations, and onboarding.
- Data & Analytics: Design and maintain real-time dashboards; provide actionable reporting on turnover, headcount, and other key organizational metrics.
- Process Engineering: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and document workflows to scale HR operations effectively.
- Program Management: Lead the day-to-day administration of global health and wellness programs, acting as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Financial Oversight: Execute the benefit reconciliation process and ensure accurate, timely processing of all carrier billing.
- Leave of Absence (LOA): Coordinate and track leave programs (FMLA, Disability, etc.) ensuring a supportive experience for employees and compliance with all regulations.
- Perk Optimization: Assist in the evaluation and rollout of employee perks to enhance the overall employee value proposition.
- Regulatory Filings: Direct the preparation and submission of information required for EEO-1, ADA, FMLA, and Department of Labor audits.
- Policy Development: Draft or revise internal HR policies to ensure they remain current with changing local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain rigorous documentation standards for OSHA and other governmental reporting requirements.

Your Qualifications:
- Experience with Workday and other HR Systems such as absence management software, ticketing tools, etc.
- Demonstrated experience supporting corporate health and wellness benefits as well as leave of absence programs
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement, process streamlining, increasing efficiency and meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Proven project management and operations skills with demonstrated ability to manage global projects and initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, using HRIS systems for reporting
- Ability to establish strong relationships and credibility at all levels and geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Broad knowledge of HR functional disciplines (e.g., organizational development, talent management, employee relations, staffing, and compensation/benefits)
- In-depth understanding of federal, state and local laws relating to HR
- A Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of directly relevant experience in HR/Benefits Operations

Compensation:
- In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range is $91,485-$117,902. In Washington State outside of the Seattle area the first- year salary range is $83,168-$107,183. Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees.
- The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
