Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor will provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the Azusa Distribution Center, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, dock coordination, equipment maintenance, and personnel training. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and compliant warehouse operations while also supporting and optimizing the technology platforms that enable them. The position requires strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams to maintain system integrity, improve data flows, and drive continuous improvement across all distribution and system‑driven activities.

 

This role will be based in California for the first two years. After that, the position is expected to be transition permanently to Tucson.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily receiving, storing, and shipping to meet deadlines and standards.
  • Train warehouse staff on system functionality, scanning tools, and technologydriven workflows and integration enhancements.
  • Document system processes, standard operating procedures, and technical workflows to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support for systemrelated questions, user access, and process documentation.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to understand operational needs and translate them into system requirements or process improvements.
  • Conduct workflow and system assessments to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Participate in crossfunctional projects involving system upgrades, automation initiatives.
  • Drive and lead projects to improvement Distribution Center and supply chain operations.
  • Systems Analysis & Support, Data Management & Reporting, Operational Collaboration.
  • Experience in supervising, hiring, training, and developing a seasonal temporary agency workforce as well as regular full-time workforce.
  • Maintain Distribution Center facility and material handling equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting audits/cycle counts, and optimizing space.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure system processes align with internal controls, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Support audits by providing system data, documentation, and operational evidence as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, equipment handling).
  • Achieve safety, quality, delivery, and shipping accuracy goals

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ or more years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and to implement changes.

 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration-MBA, Information Technology Management or related field.
  • 3+ years of management experience in a physical distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management Systems (PeopleSoft) and Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan Scale) or similar.

 

Salary range for candidates based in California: $87,000 - $131,000

Salary ranges include base salary and annual incentive bonus if applicable.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
