Skilled Machine Operator

Overview

The SKILLED MACHINE OPERATOR is a critical member of the production team responsible for achieving daily safety, quality, and production goals. This role ensures compliance with all safety requirements and maintains proper housekeeping within assigned work areas. Additional responsibilities include performing quality checks, TPM, assisting in machine changeovers and setups.

The Skilled Machine Operator must also be capable of operating the Spring Winder machine and automatic machines as part of regular production activities. This role trains, monitors, and coordinates the work of Assemblers and Operators to support efficient, accurate, and safe production operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Proven skills to start up and run automated assembly machines
• Basic computer knowledge
• Enthusiastic and self-starter
• Excellent team player

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Basic knowledge on SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Lean Six Sigma certifications
• Flexibility and have a can-do attitude
• Technical degree or equivalent
