Engineering Technician (Part-time), Extrusion

Overview

This is a part-time May-Aug 2026 position for which the Engineering Intern will be responsible for assisting in product development, validation of products, and support of existing products within the extrusion team. We are looking for a talented, action-oriented, hands-on individual who is currently pursuing an engineering degree and is interested in product design.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the current engineering team and perform tasks under the supervision and coaching of other engineers.
• Be a Self-starter, with the ability to be assigned a task and then work independently on that task without close supervision.

Help prototype and test concepts that will advance future products.

Qualifications

• Be currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipli
• Have had exposure to plastics and plastic part design.
• Have some theoretical knowledge of part design and mechanical engineering concept
• Have a technical engineering foundation (e.g. Math, Physics, Materials, fluid mechanics)
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
