Senior Web Developer (LWC & Technical Operations)

Yesterday Chennai, India
At Quantcast, we don't just build advertising technology, we revolutionize how it works. Our AI-powered Demand Side Platform (DSP) connects the world's most ambitious marketers with their ideal audiences across the open internet, delivering results that actually move the needle. Since 2006, we've been the industry's trailblazer, launching the first AI-powered measurement platform for publishers and the first AI-driven DSP. Our AI doesn't just optimize—it delivers the measurable outcomes that matter most to our clients, giving them the competitive edge they need in a crowded marketplace. Ready to join the team that's defining the future of digital advertising?

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our IT Enterprise Applications team. As the company evolves, we are transitioning our web architecture toward a modern, headless approach. You will be the technical architect and "athlete" responsible for the performance, deployment, and data integrity of quantcast.com.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between Marketing requirements and high-performance engineering. You will manage the technical ecosystem connecting Salesforce, Builder.io (CMS), and Google Tag Manager (GTM), ensuring a seamless flow of data while maintaining a rapid, automated deployment pipeline. This is a critical role for our global scaling efforts, moving away from legacy constraints toward a high-fidelity, code-driven web presence.

What You’ll Do

  • Salesforce LWC Development (30%): Engineer robust Lightning Web Components to power interactive site features and create seamless data bridges between Salesforce and the front-end.

  • Builder.io & GTM Orchestration (30%): Manage our headless CMS environment and ensure high-fidelity marketing instrumentation through advanced Google Tag Manager implementations (Custom HTML tags, complex triggers, and data layer governance).

  • Custom JavaScript Engineering (15%): Develop modular, standalone ES6+ JavaScript for complex logic and API integrations that fall outside the scope of low-code tools.

  • Stakeholder Alignment & Support (10%): Partner with Marketing and Engineering leaders to translate business goals into technical specifications, manage tasks in Jira, and troubleshoot complex site bugs or tracking discrepancies.

  • Deployment Reliability: Reduction in manual deployment errors through the successful implementation of GitHub Actions CI/CD.

  • Technical Flexibility: Successful delivery of "non-tool" JS additions that bypass CMS/GTM limitations.

  • Data Integrity: High sync accuracy between web interactions (via GTM/window.dataLayer) and Salesforce lead tracking.

  • Stakeholder Velocity: Improved time-to-market for marketing campaigns through streamlined technical workflows and automated content delivery.

  • Who You Are

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

    • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in web development or technical operations within a complex, global environment.

    • Technical Mastery:

    • Advanced JavaScript (ES6+): Deep expertise in modern JS, specifically for LWC development and utility scripting.

    • Salesforce Ecosystem: Proven experience building Lightning Web Components and managing Salesforce-to-Web integrations.

    • Headless Architecture: Familiarity with API-first CMS platforms (specifically Builder.io) and CDN-based delivery.

    • MarTech Stack: Expert-level knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM)

    • DevOps: Hands-on experience writing YAML for GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.

    • Problem Solving: A "technical athlete" mindset with the ability to triage complex reporting and tracking errors before escalating.

    • Communication: Excellent ability to distill technical constraints into clear options for non-technical Marketing stakeholders.

    • Mentorship: A passion for documentation and the ability to provide thorough training for existing staff on new architectural standards.
