The Opportunity
As a National Tax Services - International Tax LLM Senior Associate, you will engage in complex international tax matters, providing strategic guidance and solutions to clients navigating the intricacies of global tax regulations. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your analytical skills to manage workstreams, develop deliverables, and build meaningful client relationships. You will mentor junior team members, fostering their growth while maintaining professional and technical standards. This role offers the chance to deepen your understanding of international tax laws, including foreign tax credits and tax treaties, while contributing to the firm's business strategies. You will be part of the National Tax Services team, where your insights will drive impactful tax planning and compliance solutions. Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex international tax issues and developing strategic solutions for clients
- Conducting tax research to provide accurate and up-to-date information on international tax regulations
- Preparing tax documents and reports to support compliance with international tax laws
- Advising clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their global tax positions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to manage tax risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Utilizing knowledge of Controlled Foreign Companies and Base Erosion and Profit Shifting to address cross-border tax challenges
- Engaging in financial accounting and reporting to align with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Supporting domestic restructuring efforts to enhance tax efficiency and compliance
- Implementing tax governance frameworks to maintain adherence to tax legislation
- Participating in integrated global structuring to achieve tax-efficient international operations
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement to drive successful tax consulting projects
- Developing corporate tax planning strategies to maximize investment returns
- Managing structured transactions to meet specific financial objectives
- Providing guidance on foreign tax credit applications to mitigate double taxation
- Leveraging financial risk management skills to protect economic value in tax-related decisions
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters of Laws degree
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
