Aligned to Prudential Advisors vision to be recognized as the leading provider of financial advice and solutions and the top destination for talent, the Sr. Business Support Specialist plays a central role in coordinating and progressing strategic initiatives owned by the Managing Director of the firm. They will act as the first point of contact among executives, internal partners, advisors, and other external partners to support activities related to recruiting, revenue, retention and overall growth.

NJ Wealth Partners, located in Holmdel, NJ is looking for qualified candidate to fill this important position!

Essential Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:


  • Working directly with home office partners to coordinate firm-home office workflow and help resolve low to moderately complex issues. This may include compensation issues, new business matters, practice transfers, various appeals and exception requests.
  • Educating newer advisors on how to use our digital platforms that support prospecting new clients, writing new business and managing current client books of business.
  • Researching and resolving complex problems relating to client accounts and business inquires.
  • Leading daily touch point meetings with affiliates and associates aligned to our Career Development Program which focuses on new advisors entering the industry.
  • Working alongside internal partners and new experienced advisors during the new advisors' onboarding process.
  • Establishing and communicating clear direction and priority to field leaders within the firm who are responsible for recruiting flow and VIP days.
  • Serving as main point of contact with the Vice President Strategic Initiatives with respect to the firm's Real Estate Strategy.
  • Assisting the Managing Director with:
  • Organizing important internal/external training sessions as well as strategic industry events;
  • Controlling expenses and operating at peak effeciences and maximizing margin tonnage;
  • Evaluating workload and responsibilities of support staff to determine necessary assignment changes to maintain efficient workflow;
  • Promoting the firm's culture and inclusion strategy.
  • Conducting ongoing performance management and annual review process of support staff within the firm.

The successful candidate for this position will have:


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in related field or 3-5 years experience in the financial services industry, preferably in positions that focused on recruiting, marketing and/or sales.
  • Experience in a position of leadership that involved influencing, motivating and persuading others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to research information and resolve problems.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing, tracking and completing multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • The ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom platform, and LinkedIn is a plus.

Note: This is an "in-office" position; requiring Monday through Friday commitment. Occassional travel to private offices of advisors within the firm's georgraphical will be required.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $82,500.00 to $136,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
