Procurement AI Lead
Location: Letterkenny (Hybrid)
Come join us in our state of the art office in Letterkenny as we are expanding. We are hiring a Procurement AI Lead to join our Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) Organisation.
What you can expect
As the Procurement AI Lead you will play a pivotal role within the Digital Innovation and Operational Excellence team of Prudential's' Global Procurement organization. Based in a hybrid capacity from our Letterkenny office, you will focus on driving digital transformation initiatives that leverage AI capabilities to streamline procurement processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver data-driven insights.
Acting as a connector between procurement operations, technology, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will combine process management expertise with innovative digital solutions to enable a future-ready procurement function.
What you will do
Digital Transformation & Process Optimization
- Lead initiatives to digitize and modernize procurement workflows using AI-enabled tools and automation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop technology-driven solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all digital solutions adhere to Prudential's data privacy, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead development of executive-ready materials that communicate findings, KPIs, and progress transparently.
Performance Management
- Track and report on the impact of digital transformation initiatives, including efficiency gains, cost savings, and compliance improvements.
- Manage and develop a small team of analysts, providing coaching, prioritization guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Oversee workload allocation and ensure the analyst team effectively supports digital transformation initiatives with timely insights and deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Collaborate with procurement, technology, and finance teams to embed digital-first thinking across the organization.
- Drive adoption of new tools and processes through training, communication, and engagement strategies.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technology, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in procurement, operations, digital transformation, or a related field, with demonstrated exposure to technology-enabled process improvement.
- Proven experience in process management and digital transformation within procurement or operations.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools and automation platforms, and understanding of compliance, risk, and ethical considerations in technology-enabled processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of data governance, taxonomy, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Project management certification or Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
