What you will do:
PGIM Real Estate Loan Services is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to join its FHA team. The candidate will be responsible for independently managing a complex portfolio of FHA commercial real estate loans with minimal supervision. The candidate must possess excellent writing, analytical and credit skills to assess and manage risk and produce decisive credit action recommendations. The candidate must also analyze and articulate watchlist comments and ensure loan covenant compliance. With little supervision, the candidate must provide superior customer service, create efficiencies, and promote trust. The candidate shall possess good common sense, sound business judgment and will be dependable demonstrating a high level of integrity. The candidate may be asked to guide and mentor junior asset managers in risk assessment, loan management and documentation.
What you can expect:
- Credit Actions: Perform cash flow analysis, market surveys, document review and other due diligence necessary to produce prompt, well written and supported case recommendations for complex borrower requests. Transactions involve collateral properties located throughout the US. Borrower requests may include assumptions, modifications, partial releases, property substitutions, partial ownership transfers, lease approvals, easements, reserve disbursements, insurance losses, and property management & operator changes.
- Triggers: Ensure loan covenant compliance requirements are managed timely and effectively including initial input, post-closing monitoring, maintenance of collateral, and debt service thresholds.
- Watch list: Provide written analysis identifying key trends and issues noting any corresponding mitigants. Recognize broad implications of process and take initiative to improve quality of reporting and early detection of issues. Possess the ability to discuss relevant issues and provide remedies.
- Create Efficiencies: Attention to accurate detail, take initiative to continually improve the integrity of portfolio information and standardized reporting while ensuring the highest quality case recommendations and watchlist. Proactively identify and lead implementation of innovative and practical solutions.
- Collaboration: Coordinates and works alongside loan originators, external counsel, government agency personnel, loan closers, peers, and third party vendors.

What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Real Estate or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of commercial loan documents with varying degree of complexity.
- Solid understanding of the life of a commercial loan (loan closing to disposition of asset).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to specific audiences
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential including the ability to create, build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong personal computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power BI, etc.). with ability to quickly learn to work within proprietary systems.
- Strong organizational skills required with the ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team in a time sensitive environment where meeting established deadlines are critical.
- Candidate should have an open, creative and innovative mindset.

- 7+ years of equivalent commercial real estate lending or asset management experience.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to take ownership and lead projects and/or efforts through various individual contributions across teams
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities
