The Investment Analyst will report to the Director of Investment Research. The position will be hybrid located in the Newark, NJ office.
The incumbent will assist members of the Investment Oversight Team which is focused on maintaining PBF's investment platform of registered and unregistered insurance separate account strategies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in conducting due diligence on new and existing investment managers and investment strategies,
- Developing an understanding of investment guidelines and ongoing maintenance of guidelines,
- Monitoring investment performance,
- Monitoring compliance with investment guidelines and IRC Section 817(h) diversification requirements,
- Facilitating quarterly portfolio reviews with clients and internal committees,
- Developing an understanding of stable value documents and assist in the oversight of various triggers. Regular communication with internal and external wrap providers,
- Facilitating regulatory reporting requirements such as Form ADV, Form PF, and NFA Fillings,
- Reviewing BASEL III reporting for bank clients,
- Assisting in PBF's separate account fillings,
- Assisting with investment-related reporting and communications for clients, brokers and investment managers.

The work of this team is integral to PBF's product development and new business efforts. The incumbent will be relied upon to assist in investment related regulatory issues and will have frequent interaction with investment managers, insurance producers, and clients. The successful candidate must be highly articulate and possess excellent written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or other related business discipline is required.
- Series 6, Series 63 and/or Health and Life Insurance License desired ,or ability to obtain.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in investments, life insurance, or another related role is required.
- Basic understanding of separately managed accounts, mutual funds and alternative investments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp complex concepts and employ financial knowledge and investment related skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to achieve goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in MS excel required.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $76,000.00 to $125,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
