This position reports to the VP, Benefits and will support our goal to drive engagement in our Total Rewards programs and services. In particular, the Manager, Total Rewards Engagement will assist in developing and managing the materials we deliver to our participants (i.e., employees, retirees and former employees) and their families with respect to compensation, benefits and wellbeing programs.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Support the strategy driving employee engagement in our Total Rewards programs:

    • Manage the Total Rewards communications ecosystem, including websites (such as the My Total Rewards engagement platform), multimedia materials, emais, presentations, etc.
    • Ensure our engagement platform content is relevant and well positioned; delivering both broad messaging along with personalized information that increases utilization of and perceived value in our programs.
    • Make recommendations for best "look and feel" of programs / services.
    • Work with internal team and vendors in developing calendar of on-going webinars and other educational information.
    • Maintain system content manuscripts and keep system content current and well organized, removing stale or sub-optimal articles and information
    • Ensure information shared is accurate and informative.
    • Measure employee levels of interaction and engagement to drive existing and future approach.
    • Partner with Alight in developing improved solutions.
  • Manage all communications to participants:

    • Provide recommendations on planning, developing and delivering communications.
    • Understand and manage internal and vendor information to be sent to participants and families (e-mail, home mailer, etc) regarding Total Rewards programs.
    • Intervene and weigh in on timing, audience and content of messaging; considering whether to continue, modify or discontinue.
    • Manage process of design and implementation of materials:

      • Prepare, or arrange for development of, initial drafts of communications.
      • Prepare communications for distribution (e.g., formatting, posting documents for linking, adding links to emails).
      • Disseminate final communications based on the department's communications plan, including oversite of Company-wide email distributions and mailings (includes tracking, managing print vendors, submitting, revising final versions/blue lines, testing).
    • Maintain documentation on communications and communication standard operating procedures.
    • Measure impact of intended result of communications to inform approach.
    • Serve as primary contact for Prudential Communications in managing calendar of communications.
  • Manage Annual Enrollment (AE):

    • Coordinate AE strategy with Prudential Communications, and manage process of design and implementation of annual enrollment materials.
    • Design and support execution of related employee education sessions
    • Serve as the point person in gathering necessary content and providing guidance in positioning.
    • Measure impact of messaging - engagement and AE results relative to strategy.
  • Central point of contact for Total Rewards information:

    • Work with stakeholders (e.g., BRGs, People Business Partners, business leaders) in leveraging content for their needs and supporting mission.
    • Develop and execute on education sessions (e.g., webinars, TR presentations) which can assist in employee understanding and engagement in programs.
    • Be an "educator" - deliver webinar and education sessions as an ambassador for our programs and services.

What you'll need:

  • Experience in HR outsourced environment, with a general understanding of employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong editorial and/or motivational writing skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently while producing quality work products.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of virtual meeting applications (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.).

It'd be a plus if you had:

  • Experience in working with vendor(s) focused on health insurance and/or retirement benefits.
  • Four-year degree.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
  • Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
