The Process Engineer is a critical member within Prudential's Process Excellence organization, responsible for reengineering processes across end-to-end values stream that deliver measurable business outcomes across the enterprise. In partnership with the Process Excellence organization, this role translates business strategy into execution-ready process designs by applying advanced Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data-driven analysis, and strong cross-functional partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end process engineering and reengineering efforts across prioritized enterprise value streams.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to identify root causes, eliminate waste, and redesign processes for scale, speed, and quality.
  • Conduct From-To performance analysis, opportunity sizing, and cost-benefit assessments to quantify business value.
  • Design execution-ready future-state processes, including workflows, metrics, controls, and integration requirements.
  • Partner with the business, technology, data, and agile delivery teams to ensure effective implementation and adoption of process designs.
  • Facilitate and support cross-functional workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on problem statements, tradeoffs, and future-state decisions.
  • Provide clear, executive-ready communication of process insights, recommendations, and progress.
  • Track and report performance metrics and realized outcomes tied to process initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop process engineers and analysts, strengthening enterprise process engineering capability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Process Excellence Playbook, standards, and community of practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (required) (ASQ Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional process engineering or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in a matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with process excellence experts to deliver with speed, impact, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large-scale financial services or regulated environments.
  • Master's degree and/or management consulting experience.
  • Knowledge of agile and lean delivery models and their intersection with process engineering.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
