About the Role

Peloton Studios operates 365 days a year to deliver world-class boutique fitness offerings and highly engaging subscription content. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Studio Hardware Technician with a passion for health, fitness, and the Peloton community to join our Stagehand team.

Under the direction of the Manager, Studio Operations, you will be the primary guardian of our studio facilities and member-facing equipment, ensuring all Peloton Bikes and Treads are maintained to the highest standards. With health and safety as your top priority, your expertise will guarantee the seamless performance of our equipment, directly supporting a successful and exhilarating class experience for every member.

  • Ensure Equipment Excellence & Safety: Perform major repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on all member-facing bikes and Treads. You will maintain and rigorously track equipment maintenance logs, application monitoring, and quality tracking with impeccable accuracy.
  • Elevate the Member Experience: Serve as the Studio Room Attendant, closely monitoring rides to provide world-class service, quickly address member concerns (including bike or application usage), and communicate enthusiastically about product and equipment knowledge.
  • Support Live Production: Work closely with Peloton instructors to ensure a successful class, enforcing studio safety and production protocols (e.g., no cell phones, no side conversations) in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide Technical & Operational Support: Assist Stagehand Production teams with studio set changes, equipment set-up, and breakdowns. Ensure tools, equipment, and prop storage spaces are maintained with vigor for organization and efficiency.
  • Foster Teamwork: Adhere to high expectations for collaboration, working professionally with fellow crew members, clients, and other Peloton departments.

You Bring To Peloton

  • Technical & Mechanical Proficiency: The ability to quickly learn and master communication/inventory tools, operate equipment maintenance and power tools, and possess the dexterity and stamina to transport or shift equipment, shipments, and set pieces (requires lifting up to 50 lbs.).
  • Operational Agility: Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively within a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes in scheduling or studio priorities.
  • Communication & Drive: Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to work professionally with a wide range of personalities. Must be ambitious, hardworking, and passionate about the fitness industry.
  • Availability & Systems: Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings. Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office is required.

Note: As a customer-facing role, you must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
