Job Summary
The Senior Vendor Manager for Technical Services holds a critical role, leading the global governance and strategic oversight of the Technical Services Vendor Framework. This position is central to ensuring a strategically optimized and high-performing subcontractor resource pool through end-to-end vendor lifecycle management. This role is responsible for driving the transformation of Vendor Management into a proactive, business-enabling function, delivering data-driven insights, and partnering across the organization to guarantee that Technical Services has the necessary resources and capacity to meet both current and future business demands efficiently and at scale.
You will achieve this by:
- Strategically Optimizing: Ensuring a high-performing subcontractor resource pool through end-to-end vendor lifecycle management.
- Driving Change: Improving processes, data analytics, and reporting, while strengthening vendor relationships and aligning with stakeholders.
- Collaborating for Success: Partnering with Technical Services Business Leaders, RMO, Operations, and Contingent Workforce Teams to guarantee that Technical Services has the necessary resources and capacity to meet current and future business demands efficiently and at scale.
Job Summary:
- Capacity Planning & Forecasting - Own the model output and collaborate with vendors to align the resourcing model with pipeline and backlog. Drive strategic vendor partnerships to cultivate a "warm bench" of candidates, minimizing Time to Staff and Deploy, and optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
- Stakeholder Interlock - Collaborate with Technical Services Leaders, Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on business model, vendor management strategies and address resource-related issues, and facilitate effective communication.
- Resource Optimization - Development and implement solutions focused on planning, forecasting resources needs and monitoring resources utilization to ensure the accuracy of resource availability.
- Vendor Management - Manage the North America and GSI Technical Services Vendors by putting in place governance structures to track vendor performance. Leverage vendors to address both short and long term capacity gaps via existing or new vendors. Manage the onboarding process of new vendors.
- Governance - responsible for providing stakeholders with analytics and business insights that support leaders in making quick business decisions. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to accelerate revenue and maximize margin
- Skills Inventory Management - responsible for ensuring skills are maintained and updated in the PSA tool on a consistent quarterly basis as this is critical for ensuring staffing of domain expertise on high-complexity projects.
- Process Improvements - continuously assess and provide recommendations for improvement to resource & vendor management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Professional Services Vendor Mgt experience in a High Tech Software company
- Experience in partnering & negotiating with Global System Integrators
- Strong understanding of resource management principles and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in PSA software and tools
- Analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$121,000.00 - $196,000.00/yr
