Job Description
Your CareerProtect AI is seeking software development engineer (SDE) to join our growing Engineering team. Our engineering team builds and operates 'Protect AI Platform' covering everything from AI supply chain security and ML Model Scanning to LLM Security. You will work closely with fellow Software Engineers who bring a variety of skillset to the table including Backend, Frontend, Infra, ML and Security Engineering. You will also get opportunity to work closely with Product Managers, Architects and our CTO.This role is located at our Seattle office and in office 3 days a week. This is not a remote role.Your ImpactBuild and operate Cloud Native infrastructureDesign and develop innovative products end to end taking ownership of DevSecOpsCollaborate across functions (Product Managers and Engineers) to understand requirements and develop solutionsAct as a technical leader and mentor junior team membersContinuously improve the software development process, including testing, deployment, and monitoring

Qualifications (Additional Job Description)
Your Experience Significant experience (4+ years) building and maintaining software systems on Cloud and Kubernetes based infrastructure.Significant experience working with containers and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.Significant expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CDK/CloudFormation).Expertise in modern Python (type hints, Pydantic, ..) and at least one strongly typed programming language (Go, Java, Python, C++).Experience building Kubernetes Operators to automate operational tasks would be a plus.Strong communication and problem solving skills.ML/MLOps experience would be a plus.Excited about working in an agile and fast paced environment.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$126,000.00 - $203,500.00/yr
