Job Summary
Your Career
The Resource Management Organization (RMO) ensures the correct resources are allocated to projects across all Palo Alto Networks territories at the optimal time. The RMO Shared Services Team manages business capabilities and workload using a Professional Services Automation (PSA) Tool and data analysis to predict the need for skilled resources. This position is essential, covering key RMO functions such as resource and vendor administration, data collection, presentation development, reporting, and analytics.
Your Impact
- Maintain accurate resource schedules and allocations within the Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool
- Manage the Skills Matrix in the PSA system, updating skills as business needs evolve
- Oversee all aspects of resource and vendor administration
- Support the implementation of best practices for resource planning and utilization tracking
- Create and deliver regular, ad hoc, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations for RMO and Leadership
- Conduct data analysis to develop specialized reports on resource needs, conflicts, and allocation imbalances to improve business practices and utilization
- Develop, modify, and document Resource Management processes utilizing collaboration tools
- Propose and implement improvements to RMO tools, templates, and data accuracy
- Ensure business stakeholder alignment
- Ability to draw insights from data and deliver sound evaluations, decisions, and recommendations
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Business bachelor's degree
- Min 5 years of experience in Resource Mgt supporting a Professional Services business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- RMCP and Salesforce experience are a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to influence decision-making
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, macros, and VLOOKUPs
- Role ownership mindset: ability to work independently, be proactive, and detail oriented
- Flexibility to accommodate and support global time zones
