Job Summary
Your CareerPalo Alto Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Revenue and Quote to Cash Transformation to join our finance, accounting, and operations organization.Our finance, accounting, and operations groups support business infrastructure, automation, building solutions, and providing accurate, insightful financial information to empower our stakeholders. Your efforts will directly impact the ongoing transformation and success of a world-leading cybersecurity business.You'll lead key optimization workstreams within complex business, financial, and technology problems. You possess a unique blend of business knowledge, a deep understanding of the end-to-end quote-to-cash process and related systems, importance of data integrity, completeness and accuracy, coupled with a focused transformation mindset.This is a visible role with significant cross-functional interaction within and beyond finance organization. As a key driver of execution, it's critical that you possess strong leadership and communication skills, and the confidence and adaptability to manage stakeholders to advance practical, strategic and quality decision-making and achieve our desired business outcomes.The role will report to the Sr. Director of Revenue and QTC Transformation, and partner closely with IT managers, Program Operations, and other process leaders within the finance, accounting, sales, and product organizations.Your ImpactSupport and drive the evaluation of current quote-to-cash processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within assigned scope areas.Drive and execute identified initiatives within the Revenue Operations team, as well as cross-functional initiatives requiring Revenue Operations involvement. This includes designing and implementing streamlined, scalable processes and systems. The goal is to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the company's agility in adapting to evolving go-to-market strategies and business growth.Partner with IT, front office operations, go-to-market & sales team and program operations to manage the execution of specific transformation initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and effective change management.Apply a strong understanding of best-in-class QTC process and underlying systems' capabilities to drive standardization and harmonization across defined areas of the quote-to-cash domain.Develop rapport, credibility, and strong relationships across the organization.Clearly articulate ideas and proposals to build support for key project decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable project plans.Communicate project / initiative status, risks, and recommendations to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with project / initiative goals.Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing team or cross-functional project members, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.Drive teams to address critical operational and strategic questions facing the organization through structured problem-solving, research, and analysis.
Qualifications
Your Experience Accounting, Finance, Business and/or Operations Process Management degree (or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience) required. MBA and CPA or equivalent preferred.10 to 12 years of relevant experience within the tech industry, with a combination of experience at an accounting / consulting practice and industry experience at a top-tier tech company.Experience with M&A and process integration methodology, practical execution, business process and operational adoption, large scale data migration and conversion execution.Experience in practical execution of large scale QTC transformation projects. Strong understanding of revenue operations and accounting (including sound knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 and relevant internal controls) for an enterprise business across various business models including hardware, software, subscription, consumption / usage, and multiple go to market motions such as direct, distributions / resellers, marketplace, partnerships, etc...Understanding of QTC process and systems that support and enable it including Master Data Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Deals Desk, Configure-Price-Quote, Order Management, Invoicing, Cash Application, Credit & Collections, Returns, Revenue Recognition & Reporting.Knowledge of processes enabled using SAP ERP (specifically SAP RAR, BRIM / SD and S/4 HANA), SFDC (preferably CRM and CPQ), Credit and Collections, and Cash Application tools such as HighRadius and other bolt-on solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to tailor messaging to various audiences of different stakeholders within Business and IT.Hands-on and results-oriented leader with a strong problem-solving and action-oriented mindset.Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, go-getter and critical thinker.High level of work organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-change environment.Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage multiple changing priorities, and drive accountability within project teams.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$138,000.00 - $223,500.00/yr
