Job Description

If you are a motivated, intelligent, creative, and hardworking individual who wants to contribute and make a difference, this job is for you!The role of a Sr Technical Product Manager is to work with business and IT leaders in defining the capabilities needed to support the growing customer success organizations at Palo Alto Networks. This role will also be responsible for transforming these capabilities defined into specifications or user stories for software developers.Your ImpactLead AI-Driven Strategy: Drive leadership analytics for the Customer Experience portfolio, moving beyond traditional BI to leverage Generative AI and Predictive Modeling for portfolio optimization.First Principles thinking: apply first principles thinking to deconstruct complex business and technical challenges, deriving novel solutions from core, grounded on truths, cut through the noise and aligned to driving business outcome. Executive presence: Frequently interact with executive leadership and are a master of clearly articulating value, progress, and where help is needed.Analytical Innovation: Combine research and data intuition to deliver deep insights on churn and upsell opportunities, utilizing AI to identify early-warning signals in unstructured customer data.Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for process improvement and data automation (using LLMs for sentiment analysis or ticket categorization) to optimize costs and decrease turnaround time.Balanced Delivery: Drive high-stakes analytics initiatives while balancing urgent problem-solving with a proactive, AI-first technical vision.

Qualifications (Additional Job Description)

Your Experience Overall 8+ years of experience in Data/Analytics DomainExperience in Product management including managing delivery of data / analytics / AI products from start to finishMust have worked in Sales or Post-sales systems or analytics teams in the pastExcellent attention to detail and proven ability to build simple, elegant and impactful Executive dashboards/productsDemonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environmentsStrong background in AI/ML - well-versed in LLMsAbility to manage multiple tasks, projects, priorities, and deadlinesExcellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills and master influencer through the use of dataTeam player with a can do approachEducation: 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experienceLocation: Must be local to the SF Bay Area (Hybrid/On-site as required).

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$141,000.00 - $229,000.00/yr
