Palo Alto Networks SASE group is seeking a seasoned Solution/System QA/Automation Engineer to validate core networking and security features within the SDWAN CPT team. You will join a world-class software engineering team working on groundbreaking SASE/SD-WAN technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with a multi-functional team of engineers to solve complex and interesting customer problems.

• Solve important customer problems and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced team environment.
• Contribute to all phases of end-to-end product and solution validation.
• Collaborate with development and QA groups to ensure the highest product quality.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvements to the Solution QA process.
• Partner with DEV, QA, DevOps, PLM, and Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues.

• 5+ years of highly technical QA experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong L2/L3 hands-on networking experience and ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
• Strong understanding of VPN technologies, protocols (IPSec/SSL VPN), and security standards.
• Expertise with standard TCP/IP protocols including ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, and IPSec VPNs.
• Expertise in testing enterprise routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Expertise in networking features like Multicast, IPv6, DNS, NAT, and DHCP.
• Good programming experience with Python and REST APIs.
• Willingness to adopt and work within Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in QA test automation on Cloud or Network security platforms using AI tools like Claude.
• Experience in system/scale testing simulating and maintaining large or complex enterprise networks.
• Experience with performance characterization of networking products with strong debugging skills.

• Good knowledge of developing MCPs, Skills, and AI Agents.
• Familiarity with Network/Security traffic tools from KeySight (Ixia Breaking Point), Spirent (Cyber flood), or Viavi (TeraVm).
• Good domain knowledge with cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with SASE concepts, including SD-WAN, Zero Trust, NGFW, CASB, and cloud security.
• Experience in L4 to L7 networking.
