Job Summary
Idira is looking for a passionate, highly technical, and self-driven Product Owner (PO) to join our R&D department for our flagship SaaS offering: Privilege Cloud.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level business requirements and engineering execution. You will own the entire development lifecycle-from product backlog management and functional design to successful production deployments.
As a pivotal leader in the R&D ecosystem, you will work closely with Development Group Managers, Product Management, Customers, Professional Services, and peer Product Owners to deliver world-class privilege access management (PAM) security solutions.

What You Will Do:
- Backlog & Roadmap Ownership: Own the technical roadmap and product backlog for Privilege Cloud products, prioritizing features, tech debt, and non-functional requirements (NFRs) to support CyberArk-PaloAlto's strategic SaaS business goals.
- Functional Design & Discovery: Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Lead ongoing backlog refinement and grooming sessions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical focal point for stakeholders outside of R&D, including Product Management, Customer Success, Technical Writing, and Security Operations.
- Project Orchestration: Partner with Team Leaders, Group Managers and other POs to coordinate and drive complex, cross-team projects to on-time delivery.
- SaaS Excellence: Leverage your knowledge of cloud architectures to ensure our services are Secure, Scalable, Highly available, and continuously optimized.
- Report to R&D team leader.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• 2+ years of experience working directly with SaaS solutions or cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure).
• Education & Technical Depth: > BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., 2+ years of hands-on software development experience).
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand SaaS architectures, API design, and cloud-security challenges.
• Leadership & Execution: > Proven ability to influence without authority and execute large-scale, cross-departmental software projects in an enterprise environment.
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-an ability to dive into technical details without losing sight of the big-picture business value.
• Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A pragmatic, diplomatic collaborator who can align diverse stakeholders toward a common goal.
A continuous learner with a growth mindset.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications (An Advantage):
Experience in Cloud Security, IAM (Identity & Access Management), or PAM (Privileged Access Management).
