Join our high-performing engineering team in Pune and play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-impact backend systems that power enterprise-grade products. As a Backend Developer, you will design and develop robust services, APIs, and data platforms that form the backbone of our applications. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, influence system architecture, and contribute to products used at scale in a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own end-to-end backend services, APIs, and microservices from concept to production and ongoing maintenance.
• Build highly scalable, secure, and reliable systems capable of handling high traffic and large data volumes.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, platform, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.
• Drive best practices in system design, code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Identify and resolve complex issues related to scalability, concurrency, data consistency, and system reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve backend frameworks, tools, and development processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications for Backend Developer (Expert Level)
Strong Experience in:

• Go (Golang) including idioms, concurrency patterns and error handling
• GraphQL, PostgreSQL and Redis (caching and distributed locking)
• Kafka event streaming and microservices architecture within a large-scale monorepo.
• CI/CD pipeline configuration and management using GitLab,Docker containerization and Kubernetes (GKE)
• Exceptional debugging skills with the ability to unravel complexities and perform performance optimization in multi-service environments

Good to have:

• Microservice architecture developed in Go using Hexagonal/Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Outbox patterns
• Python or code generation tools.
• Knowledge on Security best practices: JWT/OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, RBAC/Casbin, MTLS, and OWASP is a plus
• Familiarity with web browser fundamentals: Browser extension development using TypeScript.
