Job Summary

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Cortex Cloud Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) team, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our customers against cyber threats. You will take ownership of designing and developing the next generation of frontend applications, from concept to production. This role requires leveraging modern tools, including AI-driven workflows, to build scalable, high-performance user interfaces and deliver exceptional user experiences with speed and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of major UI features, designing and developing scalable, reusable, and performant frontend components using React/Angular and TypeScript.
  • Actively adopt and utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development, generate boilerplate code, write tests, and optimize code logic.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, actively participating in code reviews to enhance our internal component libraries and overall architecture.
  • Proactively collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend engineers to translate complex requirements into robust, working software.
  • Mentor fellow engineers, share knowledge on frontend best practices, and help foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the future of the frontend stack for our security applications.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while focusing on performance, scalability, and accessibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in frontend development.
  • Senior-level proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React, and extensive experience with TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining large-scale, complex web applications.
  • Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques, modular design principles, and scalable architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Highcharts) and creating interactive charts and dashboards.
  • Familiarity or experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go).
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry.
