Job Description
Your CareerBecome a member of the Revenue Accounting team at Palo Alto Networks! We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Operations Manager who is excited to join a high growth Company. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical thinking and communication skills. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player. This person will directly report to the Senior Revenue Manager and closely work and manage the other members of the Revenue team. The candidate will be responsible to perform revenue close accounting activities, lead transitions and projects, develop new processes, and improve on the month-end close process. The position requires a hands-on person who is flexible, solutions-oriented, and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Your ImpactManage and coordinate the revenue accounting close related to acquisitions and Marketplace transactions, including review of monthly journal entries and reconciliations, validation of system data, tracking close status, and reporting close metricsPartner with cross functional business partners to implement standard methodologies, automation, and continuous process improvementsLead and assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed, including integration of newly acquired entitiesLeverage comprehensive quote to cash system and process knowledge to timely identify, quantify, and resolve issuesPartner with Corporate FP&A team and assist with forecastEstablish and maintain strong SOX controls

Qualifications (Additional Job Description)
Your Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline, CPA preferred8+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and operation in the technology industry. Big 4 and relevant industry experience preferredStrong knowledge of Hardware, Software, and SaaS ASC 606 revenue guidance Experience in revenue accounting for Marketplace and AcquisitionsExperience working with SAP S4/HANA, SAP RAR, NetSuite, and SFDC preferredAdvanced knowledge of Excel and Google SuiteSolid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to detailCritical thinker with a risk-based approach mindset and strong problem-solving skillsMotivated self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects to conclusionEffective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$110,000.00 - $179,500.00/yr
