Job Summary

Job Summary
As a Professional Services Consultant for Prisma Access, you will be a key technical partner, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to clients deploying our advanced security integrations. You will partner directly with client personnel to guide and suggest integrations that ensure their success in securing their digital environment. Your deep understanding of our product integrations will contribute to the development of new principles and concepts, enabling our clients on their path to a more secure digital world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and implement new architectures leveraging our security products and services, including migrating customers from legacy hardware.
  • Create custom security policies and application signatures tailored to unique client environments.
  • Implement network segment controls in accordance with established security frameworks like NIST and RMF.
  • Proactively troubleshoot complex integration issues, perform debug analysis, and collaborate with the Technical Assistance Center to mitigate threat events.
  • Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, platform changes, and new technology developments.
  • Validate and implement proof-of-concepts in lab environments to test and showcase solution capabilities.
  • Serve as a primary technical advisor, communicating implementation strategies and insights to stakeholders from engineering to C-suite executives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in network security, with a focus on troubleshooting network connectivity and maintaining operational environments.
  • Detailed technical experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of high-end firewall appliances.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN/VLAN design, and network security principles.
  • Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed, up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Palo Alto Networks products and Prisma Access.
  • Experience with IDS/IPS solutions, classified transport networks, and virtualized environments (VMs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to both technical peers and senior leadership.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$114,000.00 - $157,500.00/yr
