Job Description

Your CareerBring your backend java cloud engineering skills to work on the latest cloud software/web applications. Help us deploy and scale the next generation of cloud security utilizing big data and Analytics. We are looking for a Sr Staff Engineer to join the team that is building our latest cloud security product - Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Our DLP service is the industry's first cloud-delivered Enterprise DLP that consistently protects sensitive data across all networks, clouds and users. This fast-growing cloud service prevents data breaches by identifying sensitive data consistently throughout the entire enterprise. It also guarantees that your data security strategy adheres to compliance and data privacy regulations.This role will also give you an unrivaled opportunity to build micro services to process terabytes of data efficiently with different cloud providers.This role is located at our dynamic Santa Clara California headquarters campus and the team is in office 3 days a week.Your ImpactExecute on the software development strategy to improve our dynamic highly distributed systemUnderstand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to deliveryCollaborate closely with the team, product management, architects and dev-ops to achieve quality releasesWork hand-in-hand with customer support, documentation and downstream teams to enable customer successMake appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-release while maintaining performance and scalability requirementsBe able to clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams

Qualifications (Additional Job Description)

Your Experience Experience as hands-on Core Java Software Engineer in a distributed/cloud-based productExperience or exposure with native code languages, e.g Rust, Go, C/C++ is a big plusExperience and/ or exposure to usage of Agentic AI for data pipelines and/ or data engineering is a big plusSolid experience with Spring framework, Rest API, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes and DockerCloud Experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)Experience and knowledge with Micro services, distributed processing systems, and performance optimizationExperience with Agile development process and embrace Agile methodologiesStrong believer of automation test and strive for higher code coverageCan-do attitude on problem-solving, quality and ability to executeNice to have, Data intensive systems Structured and unstructured data processingBS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 9+ years or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required.
