Job SummaryWe seek a Principal Software Engineer for the Cortex DevOps group at our India Development Center (IDC). This role is for a software craftsman passionate about building innovative tools and platforms to solve the challenges of R&D and DevOps teams. You will excel at creating high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software that enhances productivity, streamlines workflows, and supports a growing infrastructure. If you are a developer at heart with a passion for building impactful tools, this is the role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement resilient infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and sound system design principles.Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code for complex product and infrastructure features.Lead the design and development of advanced features, proactively collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver scalable solutions.Initiate and drive technical design reviews, helping teams align on best practices and architectural patterns.Provide expert-level code reviews, delivering in-depth feedback on code style, accuracy, efficiency, testability, and overall quality.Spearhead the creation and enhancement of technical documentation, setting standards and promoting best practices across teams.Provide advanced operational support and lead incident resolution for tools and applications maintained by the Cortex DevOps Tooling team.
