In your role you will lead a high-performing matrixed team responsible for programs and operational support for some or all of : referrals, interview scheduling, background checks, contracts & onboarding, internal mobility, recruiting training, job descriptions, and Workday Recruit operational support. As the Talent Operations Capability Centre Manager, you will act as a force multiplier, focused on increasing execution efficiency and delivering programs and projects that help the company scale to support PANW's rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire - Mentor and develop a talented team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Exercise sound business judgment and strategic thinking to implement practical and actionable solutions to address escalations from the business. Lead by example through a hands-on approach, providing technical guidance and subject matter expertise to help the team navigate complex roadblocks.
- Operational Excellence - Directly support team volumes during peak periods, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining a deep "finger on the pulse" of daily operations. Streamline processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency - Demonstrate high effectiveness in working within a matrixed environment where you will be accountable for delivering staffing operations on behalf of program owners who may be located in other regions.
- Process Optimization and Innovation - Learn and master the subject matter deeply to identify localized process gaps and implement continuous improvements. Align tactical programs to large, strategic objectives and ensure team members understand the big picture and organizational goals - Solicit and evaluate feedback to determine appropriate actions, solutions and initiatives needed
- Analyze and Report - Analyze team key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to communicate recommendations on initiatives and influence senior management through data and thoughtful interpretation of findings.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management - Develop effective relationships with regional partners to understand local challenges and deliver seamless service - Support global projects that originate or are championed in the region and ensure global alignment
- Compliance and Governance - Ensure policies are acknowledged and required training is completed, including implementing audits and follow-up processes to achieve compliance - Understand diverse employee stakeholder groups and local employment legislation within regions and adapt recruitment service delivery to ensure compliance with local laws, processes, and policies
- Change Management - Drive enablement programs, specifically around process excellence, adoption of LinkedIn advancements and other tools, and recruitment compliance and governance - Close gaps in training or job aids and lead change management for TA.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, with at least 4+ years specifically in Talent Acquisition Shared Services or a similar environment
- Proven track record of leading, managing, and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting including the ability to manage complex operations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of Talent Acquisition processes, best practices, and key performance indicators
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday), ATS, and ticketing or workflow management tools (e.g. ,ServiceNow)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to a diverse audience
- Global mindset, including experience working in a matrixed organization with a 24/7 global delivery model, supporting multiple regions and time zones
- Strong problem-solving and ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- A passion for talent acquisition and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
