Job Summary

Your Career

The Account Sales Representative partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You're motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customer's secure environment, so you're prepared to connect them with a solution for every stage of threat prevention. This role is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you're responsible for leading and driving sales engagements.

Palo Alto Networks is leading the charge in platformization, offering best-in-breed solutions that enable customers to build a truly zero-trust security architecture and navigate critical transformations. To ensure our sales team is equipped to guide customers, we've developed FLIGHT, an immersive onboarding program. Flight blends virtual and in-person learning at our headquarters, where new sales hires will participate in dynamic cohorts, fully dedicated to their training without customer distractions. This focused approach ensures they emerge as well-prepared sales professionals, ready to help customers leverage our comprehensive portfolio.

Your Impact

As an Account Sales Representative, your responsibilities include:

  • Territory Development and Sales: Expand our footprint by developing Private Accounts on Mid Market / Commercial segment. To be a support for all the Commercial Sales Manager of the team : Backup, qontacts qualifying, blitz day with partners, cold calling, take meetings, leads generation...
  • Direct and Channel Sales: Drive the overall commercial team revenue by selling Palo Alto Networks products and solutions through Channel Partners.
  • Consultative Solution Selling: Utilize consultative selling expertise to identify customer business challenges and design effective solutions for prospects and current customers.
  • Market Positioning: Effectively position the Palo Alto Networks portfolio by understanding the competitive landscape and specific customer needs, especially regarding local purchasing centers.
  • Planning and Forecasting: Develop a detailed territory plan to create clear goals, ensure accurate forecasting, and collaborate closely with local account teams.
  • Value Proposition: Build compelling value propositions for specific accounts by leveraging successful prospect stories and insights.
  • Professional Development: Stay current on industry news, trends, and their impact on our products and services.
  • Travel: Travel within the assigned territory and for company-wide meetings as required.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • SaaS and Industry Expertise: Deep experience with and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures (ideally in networking and/or security) and a commitment to staying current on cybersecurity industry trends, products, and pricing.
  • Consultative Sales Mastery: Proven expertise in consultative and value selling of complex solutions to public sector markets, with in-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and structured process, particularly for French local authorities.
  • Problem-Solving & Technical Acumen: Strong technical aptitude and holistic approach to problem-solving, capable of analyzing data to identify root causes and deliver scalable solutions that address complex business challenges.
  • Channel Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to ensure a successful channel-centric go-to-market strategy.
  • Autonomy and Work Ethic: Demonstrate excellent time management, self-direction, and autonomy while consistently working toward and achieving leadership-set KPIs/KSOs.
  • Sales Operations & Reporting: Expertly utilize Salesforce to run campaigns, log all customer activities and interactions, conduct outbound calls for meetings/events, and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly lead updates to the Sales Manager.
