Job Description
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 3 to serve as an Engineering Lead and Department Manager for the Central Region Software, Electronics, and Payloads organization within Alabama Engineering.
Essential Functions:

Manage an organization of >100 multidisciplinary employees.

Serve as primary Engineering liaison to a Program Manager with oversight of team execution, staffing, indirect budgets, and process changes.

Be responsible for daily communication, performance assessment, development, and recognition of direct reports and subordinate departments.

Develop high performing teams with strong levels of engagement including mentoring and coaching.

Assist the AL Engineering Director with technology initiatives, employee engagement, staffing projections, and support of new business acquisitions.

Basic Qualifications
