As a Staff Mission Assurance Engineer - Level 5, based out of Chandler, AZ you will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. In this job, you will:
Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.

Assess program performance and risks and determine resources to ensure mission assurance.
Basic Qualifications for Level 5:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering +12 years of related experience OR Masters Degree + 10 years of experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Familiarity with customer and internal requirements implementation and flow-down
Interdepartmental collaboration and communication skills
Experience developing and working to an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
Ability to travel ~10% alongside working overtime as needed
Extensive experience with RCCA analysis, investigation, and implementation
Your Distinct Strengths:
Demonstrated skill with process improvement projects
Strong technical writing skills
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Secret Clearance
Experience working in the Aerospace industry
Experience with DCMA-SP and DOW as a customer base
Experience with MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP) and MDA Parts, Materials, and Processes Mission Assurance Plan (PMAP)
Experience generating QMS command media
Team leadership experience
* Ability to Mentor/train new hires
We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off)
For the right person, we would consider hybrid/teleworking from Huntsville, Alabama working in AZ/MST time zone.
Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $241,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
