The position is strongly preferred to reside at the Elkton, Maryland location. May consider other locations for the best qualified candidates.
Job Summary
This position will report to the PS&C Business Development Director and will support Strategy, Business Development, and Capture activities across the portfolio. The focus of the position will be on Capture Management of strategic priorities across solid rocket motors, air-breathing propulsion, advanced materials, and control systems. Travel will be up to 33%.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and manage capture plans for strategic business priorities
Develop and manage customer relationships with internal and external customers to support business growth objectives
Support the development and management of M&S, B&P and IR&D activities to align with business priorities
Support Bid and Proposal activities
Create, update, and maintain SalesForce records to support new business opportunity pursuits, and gate reviews
Build and execute marketing and communications plans
Regularly report to the company's Leadership Team through Capture status and Gate reviews

Basic Qualifications:

Must have 16 years of experience. Will consider those with a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience or those with a Master's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
Five (5) or more years of relevant propulsion experience specifically in capture management, business development, or program management.
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

Domain expertise in Air and Missile defense programs
Technical experience with solid and liquid propulsion systems
Knowledge of DoW budgets and budgeting process
International capture experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $253,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
