Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support proposal activities to support proposal activities based out at Sunnyvale, CA. * The preference is to have this as a full time onsite position in Sunnyvale, CA. We will consider a full time remote opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers
Collaborate with the core internal and external team (Contracts, Pricing, Program, etc) teams to develop strategy, review supplier quotes for compliance, and oversee overall proposal requirements for on time submission
Identify and investigate impediments, analyze possible alternatives, resolve the root cause/bottlenecks and follow through on actions in a timely and accurate manner.
Compile, analyze, and present proposal-related data
Attend proposal kick-off meetings, fact-finding meetings and other required adhoc meetings to drive adherence to schedule and monitor risk to address volatility in proposal requirements, deadlines, and our offering
Lead departmental kick off meetings, document compilation
Supports internal customer-facing teams with customer requests, negotiations, and reworks of submitted proposals
Perform comprehensive review of all elements of cost including direct labor, material, to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures.
Oversees proposal process from initiation through completion
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4 Senior Principal Proposal Analyst:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 8 years of proposal, pricing, contracts, or project management experience OR a Master's degree in business, finance, economics or related discipline with 6 years of proposal, pricing, contracts, or project management experience
Supply Chain experience within Government Contracting
Experience with SAP
Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Recent experience as a Proposal Lead, Project Manager, Supply Chain, Business Management or Contracts
Experience with proposal development, cost estimating & pricing, or various contract types, such as FFP and T&M.
Experience with U.S. Marine systems related customers
Knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Government's acquisition process including federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR)

Primary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
