Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Mission Systems Category Management Team is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, reporting to the Category Manager. This position has exposure at the enterprise level and is instrumental in driving the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts on schedule to support our customers. This position can be worked remote.
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
• Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management to include dock dates, need dates, contract dates, using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
• Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, expediting
• Analyzes delivered product lead times and identifies critical path procurements
• Creates and maintains Supplier Production Readiness Reviews (SPRR), Supplier Business Reviews (SBR), and assist with Enterprise Strategic/Sourcing Agreements (LTPA/LTSA)
• Completes quarterly supplier assessments for critical and strategic suppliers (SAMS)
• Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities to satisfy goals
• Assists with long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end of-life management
• Drive supplier improvement through RTG activities to meet delivery goals
• Reports status to affected programs
• Act as senior peer leader to C&C team by standardizing planner activities aligned to best practices
• Facilitate onboarding of new team members
• mentoring of new team members
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field, Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred qualifications:
Experience leading multiple teams at once
Experience coaching to implementing change with demonstrated results
Experience onboarding internal and external employees
Experience hosting executive level business/performance reviews
SAP experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
