The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space programs that provide specialized IT support to Restricted, DOD, Unclassified systems and environments. This position requires knowledge and adherence to Information Assurance processes and procedures per NG InfoSec and program security organizations. The Job requires CISSP / CISM level understanding of Cyber Systems Security Plan design and implementation.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

Administration of Linux (RHEL/CENTOS) 7/8 servers and workstations in a production environment
Administration of Windows workstations and servers (Win7, Win10, and Win2016/2019)
Administration of VMware Virtualization Data Center
Administration of NetApp Storage Appliance
Administration of CISCO network switches
Implementation of Security controls on Windows and Linux Servers and workstations
Extensive experience in the deployment of I&T lab environments
Proven ability to Task and Resource manage in order to meet program milestone
Experience using Compliance and Remediation tools (i.e. Nessus, SCC SCAP scanner, STIG Viewer)
Close out POAM items in a timely manner to meet implementation schedule
CISSP / CISM level understanding of Cyber Systems Security Plan design and implementation
Proven ability to lead Cyber Test Plan (CTP) efforts
On call, 24/7 pager support during critical phases of testing, contingency operations and off-site as required
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; or 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree; or 4 years of relevant experience with a PHD.
Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active
Minimum of 10 years administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5/6/7/8 servers and workstations
Minimum of 10 years installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux server applications (i.e. Samba, NFS, Chrony, Web servers, Databases)
Active SCI Clearance and current Privilege User
Preferred Qualifications:

Meets DOD IAT requirements for security certs or be in the process of obtaining one. (i.e. CISSP, Security+ certification)
Solid understanding of computer networking (OS configuration, Network switches, Firewalls, CISCO IOS)
Experienced in the implementation of CMMC/DFARS/RMF/DOD Security Controls on Linux and Windows operating systems (i.e. Windows SHB and RHEL SSG builds)
Extensive experience installing, configuring, and operating VMWare and KVM virtualization environments
Advanced knowledge building, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting IT systems hardware (i.e. Workstations, Servers, Storage appliances, network switches, rack & stack)
Strong understanding of DevSecOps tools and practices (i.e. Configuration Management, Atlassian Tool Suite, etc.)
Advanced working experience with scripting languages and automation, such as bash, ansible, and/or powershell
Extensive experienced with SAN/NAS hardware (i.e. NetApp, Linux and Windows file servers, storage appliances)
Proven experience working with vendors in the identification of new hardware/software technologies to meet program requirements
Adept at Performing Backups and Restores using COTS and Open-Source tools to implement a disaster recovery plan (Windows and Linux)
Strong understanding of program hardware/software environment to calibrate the customer cyber controls to meet operational requirements
Strong written and verbal communications skills required to explain / write justifications for non-compliance items to Cyber, program, and customer entities
Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
