Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program as a Cyber Systems Engineer based out of Schriever SFB, CO. We are seeking experienced Cybersecurity Professionals to aid the program as a Sr Principal Cyber Systems Engineer conducting routine Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessments and implementation, aid in performing vulnerability scanning and monitoring of our systems and servers, assist in the maintenance and development of our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) stack as we begin to implement Elastic, Kibana and Logstash (ELK) into our internal enclave and more!
Essential Functions:
Serve as a Senior Cyber System Engineer supporting high-level technical and practical expertise.

Assures the implementation of Cyber Security disciplines, including COMSEC, COMPUSEC, EMSEC, OPSEC, digital communications systems, network protocols and architectures, and penetration tools and techniques.
Support all facets of engineering (Cyber, System, Network) to diligently serve as the liaison between the teams to accomplish key priority taskings as disseminated by the customer and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain automation efforts for Cyber related tasks.
Ensures compliance of cybersecurity policies and procedures are implemented throughout the enclave.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 10 or more years of technical experience OR Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 8 or more years of technical experience.
Must have an Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Must have at minimum a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE).
Experience utilizing vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Splunk, etc.)
Experience with managing/maintaining ePolicy Orchestrator (Trellix).
Experience with managing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and requirements development to ensure regulatory compliance.
Experience in generating scripts to automate patching and STIG related tasks (Bash / C++, etc.)
Experience developing and testing Ansible YAMLs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Atlassian products to include Confluence and JIRA to track projects and tasks.
Previous experience operating in a Linux environment.
Previous experience in a System Administrator role.
Experience maintaining IPA and RSA for user access.
Familiarity with network engineering.
Familiarity with VMWare and VM Management (OpenStack).
Familiarity authoring technical instructions (OIs, SOPs, etc.)
* Experience working with the NIST 800 series and other NIST documentation.

Primary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
